Ice-breaker:
Share some situations that are common of man to have a crisis of faith and doubt the goodness of God?

Prayer & Praise:
Women's ministry events in July with summer social, and time in the Word. Mission trips to Mexico and Cuba.
Praise for God's eternal love directed to us!
I can know God is good even when…
1. The Proud Prosper (v. 1-12)
In verse 1 the psalmist says, “God is good.” But then in verse 2 says, “But…”. Why is it so easy to have a disconnect between our theology and our practice when we see the unrighteous prosper? How can the following verses help us to keep the proper perspective when we observe this (Psalm 37:1; Psalm 1:4-6;)

Many believers have tension in their heart just like we see in Job 21:7-16. What will be your response when someone asks, “Why is it that God allows unbelievers to have good things?”
2. The Saints Struggle (v. 13-15)
Worldly focus can lead to spiritual amnesia. Write down a time that you can recall pursuing something, even a good thing, but your failure to get what you wanted caused you to doubt the goodness of God? (See Exodus 32)
What is it right now that you are struggling with (health, relationship, anger, wayward child, etc.)? What practical steps can you learn from Psalm 37 to aid you in worshiping God while you endure a trial?
3. The Flesh Fails (v. 16-28)
How does the thinking of the psalmist change from verses 21-25? How can you imitate this in your life?
The psalmist makes bold statements about God in verses 26 and 28. Can these statements be said of you? If not, how can you work to change this?
Mutual Ministry:
What is one practice that you will apply to your life whenever you doubt God’s goodness? Who will be your accountability partner in this?
